TCM, probably the best reason for me to have cable. I can't complain much. I have 16mbps Internet, Internet phone, and Cable, all for $120.00 through WOW cable.

That's a good price, I'D pay that.

Recently lost my Windows 8 on my main PC, had to go back to Windows 7.
Here is my view on those prices:

No problem with the internet. In Europe I pay appr. $20 for DSL 6000.
Pnone I don't need. I use VoIP
For US TV they would have to pay me - hopefully enough to pay for the internet, LOL.

That would be a consumer friendly approach.

How about Limits? I'm allowed 250gb per month. It USED to be unlimited. It's one thing to pay 80 bucks for the service, another to keep on paying for every byte you use.

I've considered that, but I loathe and despise DSL in all it's various forms and iterations. All it is, is a glorified ADSL line. I set up one of those between a nightclub and the radio station KUSF in San Francisco, it was for Mono Broadcast. For stereo, you have to have TWO lines!

When I was the only Broadband user in my County - I had fast upstream AND downstream - After a year, they capped Up at 1.5mbps - Eventually inreased it to 3, then 6, but then they applied the usage cap about 2 years ago. I've had this service since early 1997.
