I did, that's what gave the 2nd message.

Should I just upgrade to windows 8.1 and see if that helps fix any of my problems?

Edit: What about the fact that my Asus audio drivers share the same IRQ as my Nvidia Audio Drivers?

I just saw your edit...

try this, open device manager and manually install the driver.

Point the install wizard to this directory... STX_8_1_8_1822_Win8_1\STX-1.08(W81-CR)\WIN81\SoftwareDriver\driver

The goal is to solve any bsod's. Test the system to see if you get any crash dumps pointing to this driver.

Problem now though. My registers I have speakers and sound is playing. But i don't get any audio to my headphones because what the default driver points to for audio out is for the left and right audio ports on the back which i can't plug my headphones into. =/

It was probably a bad idea to uninstall before installing the drivers through Device Manager.

In any case, run Setup.exe now in compatibility mode for 7 and see if it does something for ya, or upgrade Windows to 8.1.

One more thing I would like to point out. Could my mic be causing these problems? I'm using a USB Blue Snowball and lets just say it doesn't like to work half the time with this motherboard.

While I am confident there could be several scenarios for this bsod its important to pin down the actual cause first. Once this issue has been adequately solved we can move on to other configurations. It might even be wise to ask these questions concerning various peripherals in their respective sub-forums.

For the time being test the system to see if any bsod's are happening. Then we can move on.

Would be nice if it all works out.

There are two sides to me when dealing with things like this. Priority #1 is stability. Nothing else matters.

When that is taken care of, priority #2 kicks in: For example, look at my audio specs. My spec machine is basically a home studio. I know why you want what you want.

Keep us updated!
