Anyone want there sidebar?

I installed Vista on a PC I repaired a couple of days ago, I'd forgotten how beautiful it was, the only problem was all the updates, it took hours to install the updates.

Glad to know I'm not the only one who liked the look of Vista (mostly). I miss Vista's taskbar :-(

vista looks gross and bloated...

7 looks prettier. But the vista beta 2 sound scheme was SO beautiful, OH! Definitely pairs with vista's design though. But 8's sound scheme is very elegant.

I liked the look of Vista, but it slowed everything down. Win7 had decent looks and performed better on the PC's I run it on.

The idea of live tiles really is the same. I liked them a little bit in vista, grew to not really use them in 7, I stopped after the windows live gallery was cancelled.

I`m wondering just where all this "at a glance" information is on the metro tiles because all I can see is random pictures from my library, Random Contacts from my address book and one line headlines from the news app and E-mail. (and that's it ).
