Yea I tried most of these and I will try a defragmentation aswell.I heard that sometimes laptops can come from the factory with some problems, broken...I still have the waranty and might ask them to change the laptop for me if I don't get this sort out.I tried some fps guides on youtube for CCC and apparently they made my fps even worse...What else do you recommend me to do?

Was one question i was going to ask if it was still under warranty. First try talking to ASUS about issue see what they say. Where did you buy the laptop and how long ago ? My other thoughts were testing the CPU, stress tests. Not sure about trying this and one most use is Prime95 have to monitor temps with another program like HWMonitor. Sometimes is risky to use these so i am not sure to, speak with ASUS first.

Alright I ll ask them...I have this laptop since a few months and I had win7 on it and used it only for stuff like word, office and then tried the game and saw how horrible it works.Firstly I thought it was the win7 because this laptop only supports win8 drivers so I thought it wasnt a problem,but after I installed win8 I saw that it has a serious problem

Specs on it should be O.K. Windows 8.1. Still can be some hardware issues.Lowering settings in the game might of helped, but also GPU benchmark was not good as said and even the CPU can cause this issue with GPU. Only owned one Laptop myself, my knowledge more towards Desktop. Changing the OS might void warranty, i am not positive,did it originally come with Windows 7 ? Few months too far of a time to bring it back to store you bought it from.

It came with Free DOS so it is not a problem.I just send the Asus team a mail and , hopefully, they will respond to me fast

O.k. you will get a faster response from a call as it will probably take 3 business days for them to respond to an e-mail. As i had an ASUS talked to them many times, never a long wait on phone.

They said it will take maximum 48 hours , but ,yeah... we'll see... I'll tell you when they respond or if I talk to them

Edit:They responded this morning and they said that if I have a windows 8.1 64 bit with license I must do all the updates from ,,windows update ,, and then install all the drivers from the asus site .

Well i thought i asked before about making sure have all system and windows updates and thought you said you were sure they were up to date. Wonder about asking them about BIOS too, ask them first or can check your BIOS see if number is different from one listed on there site. Do not try that yet. See from ASUS site for each BIOS says this :
Notice：Please check in the BIOS setup for the correct BIOS file name of your Notebook

If drivers and updates do not help, call them instead. Also ask about BIOS update if needed.

O.k. have trouble getting one, then eventually call them, easier response that way as said. If all the drivers from site are up to date on your system and through windows update. Not thinking can be driver issue myself, only possibly the AMD driver. Might be hardware related.

I think this laptop has a serious issue...I installed all the driver he said and it was even worse...Some errors appeared after the installation finished and restarted the pc.The display went black , then blue for 3 times in a row and then it said this in the notifications center :display driver has stopped responding and has succesfully recovered, then the screen froze and another error poped out:your pc has run into a problem and needs to restart we are collecting some error info and then we'll restart for you.After it restarted it was alright but I tried the CoD4 to see how it works and guess what...I had 5-4 fps...Tried furmark aswell and the fps were 5 ,just like the last time.Reinstalled properly my old driver and now I am stuck again in the same stage.I am waiting for the asus response again. You are most welcome, anytime. Either the driver for AMD just not working with other drivers on Laptop, conflict. I do not know exactly which drivers you reinstalled or updated from ASUS. Let's hear from ASUS first, see what they say. Common way for them to tell you make sure to update all your drivers first and windows updates, to rule that out. Yeah, low frames per second do seem like this hardware but in some instances can also be in combination with CPU, referred to as Bottlenecking, especially in crossfire setup like yours, it's just another possibility i know not much about.

I got their reply, they said that I need to send the laptop to them and they will get it fixed.I did all they asked me to do, get the updates from windows updater, uninstalled properly the drivers using everything needed ,including registry clean aswell+installing the drivers provided by them... and it had lots of errors+ worse performance.I will tell you what happened when I ll send it and when they ll fix it for me.

Sounds right as it is still under warranty, even though it is a hassle and won't have it for awhile, but at least know should be good when get it back. Now if it wasn't long since the place bought it at, they would exchange it for you, usually 30 days. Good luck !!

Recieved the laptop from warranty and the motherboard was the problem and they had it changed.However, I still did not fix this because the only way to make this laptop run at its best is to use the drivers provided by ASUS.I got the proper site from an ASUS member and , unfortunately, the link provided by them for VGA seems to be damaged because after the installation the fps in-game are 5 on a 2007 game, the fps on furmark are 6 just like with the other drivers . I guess I'll just have to search for that driver online
