This is bugging the life out of me, as I want to get stuff done.
Both me and my friend are running local accounts, and none of us has rights to access temp files.
Installation files are bugging, telling me that the "data is corrupt" or "can't find the files".
What procedures do I need to take to make sure I have full control over my files? I tried administrator group policies, local elevated admin, changing rights, changing ownership of folders, permanently and with the "Take Ownership" quickfix.
What else can be done?
Any ideas as to why wizards can't open temporary setup files, when everything points to the fact that I have ownership?
