I think what I have is a VMware thing.
I don't think it is meant to boot from.
Just for use with VMware Player.

All you need is Windows ISO to install in VM, didn't have to go thru all of that to install in VM. Idea behind full install on USB is to have a portable windows you can use on compatible computers.

What you did there was to create a virtual machine and store those in the USB stick so you need to run it with VmPlayer. Look at the links that Brink added in my previous post for the tutorial on how to create "Windows to go" that you can boot up from the USB stick.

I decided to go with the options in the VMware. :)

I only have 1 computer.
I don't really need a bootable usb OS.

I just wanted to put Windows 10 on a usb so it would not be on the computer.
I'm happy with what I have. :)

In the future I may have need of the tutorial information.:geek:

Good choice. I don't see any benefit to create a Windows to go. It will be slow

Main purpose of Windows 2 GO is to be able to take your own windows with programs and and everything to other compatible computers so you can work in own environment. Other than that I can't see much more.
