8.1 - Daily BSoD/Blackout Reset KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAIL

Quick update, SoftPerfect's RAMDisk is the most annoying software when it comes to removal, I can't seem to get rid of it just by 'uninstalling' it. It's still there after the uninstallation, although it appears to be not functioning properly since the driver and the service has 'seemed' to be removed. Consider it removed at the moment I guess, will report in when another BSoD happens.

EDIT: Forgot to add this, the other highlighted drivers are already up to date, I'm running the latest version of Acronis, and that Intel stuff I always grab the latest driver from ASUS.

What is left of the RAM Disk software? o_O

Hi Stillazure ^_^,

That is very bad that the BSOD occurred after 7 days :(

It appears that the Win Ring Libraries are still present on the system and are running. Please do a system wide search for that and make sure that it is deleted and the program associated with it is also deleted.

If you are still experiencing any issues then please run Driver Verifier according to this **GUIDE** and make sure that you let it crash for few times and then upload a freshly generated SF Diagnostic ZIP File.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.

Alright, I haven't posted any replies lately because I thought it was fixed for sure.

No, not really. I re-installed my Windows, thought it may help, nope, still the same.

It died after about 7 days.

I skipped any ASUS software installation apart from the ones that are required for the drivers.

Malwarebytes is most likely not an issue and RealTemp isn't either, as those happen to, again, be fine before the 4790k installation. RealTemp wasn't running during initial checkups, removed MBAM on the previous Windows installation.

So I'm clueless. At this point I'd like to think that it's some hardware failure. I suspect the motherboard has an issue. During the 4770k time, the computer was running steadily without any issue. I think it may be some compatibility issue that it's facing. Considering the Devil's Canyon is a Z97 chip, although backward compatible with some BIOS-updated mobos, I doubt the reliability is the same. I might just send the board back at some point, if not, well, I'll have to live with this for about 5 months to save up for a nice Z97 board.

Like I said in my previous posts, please UNINSTALL THE REALTEMP as the libraries are very well known to cause issues. Remove MalwareBytes and ASIO.sys.

Furthermore, Please disable the NVIDIA Streaming Service from the Windows Services as it is known to cause issues as well. If the issue is still not solved, please run Driver Verifier according to this **GUIDE** and make sure you let it crash for few times and then upload the latest SF Diagnostic ZIP File.

Let me know how it goes ^_^.
