I love the Dev Preview so far. We were getting on so well. And then the (reimagine) blue screen of death shows up, with it's sad face. I thought I might have said something to upset it. "Shhh, it's okay winona, shhh" I said, stroking the screen comfortingly. And then she reboots. And BSOD's. Repeat X times till I also have a sad face on.
The error I'm getting is "Page Error in Non-Paged Area". This started after a BSOD relating to it falling idle for roughly 25 minutes (I've heard of other people getting this, but not my problem after). The system this is running on is an AMD Turion 64 X2 @ 2.1GHz, 3Gb DDR2 RAM, ATI HD3200, 250GB hdd. My standard issue test bed, since my Asus broke I've been using this in the mean time.
I've taken the HDD out and whacked it into my server (cause I'm just that cool), the file system is intact, ChkDsk doesn't find any integrity issues, and there's no bad sectors (allegedly). On top of this, the boot sector also seems in tact. I've done a test of both my memory modules, taking one out and testing the other on it's own - the error still occurs, so I'm led to assume a driver or something is causing the issue.
DVD drive on my test bed doesn't work, died ages ago, so that's not helpful, but I can extract dumps etc onto my server if anyone's able to help with this.
And if anyone can fix it - the beers and/or cookies are on me.
(can't upload anything right now as I'm away from all 3 computers)
