The process "System" is showing in task manager to be using 100% of the HDD (100% activity, not storage) and running from anything between 5MB/s to 60MB/s. This is causing real problems for me as often programs will just stop responding because System is hogging the disk and they can't load anything. If they don't stop responding all together, they'll be reaally slow! I've attached a picture of disk activity on C for proof of what's happening. It'll happen for hours on end and then just stop all of a sudden. Sometime if I really need to get something done I'll have to restart my vomputer to get it to stop. As I said, this is causing my large problems. Does anybody have any idea how I can fix this? It doesn't seem like normal behaviour at all.
