From what I'm gathering on the Microsoft forums, it's a Windows thing, although it is not being said that way. The fact there is no definite easy fix tells me Microsoft has got to grapple with it. I was kind of hoping at the beginning there might be a way someone had found to overcome it, but I'm not finding anything to state that yet - anywhere.
Thanks for the suggestion and effort - appreciated!
Did the Reset which produced nothing. I wouldn't go as far as doing a Refresh or Clean Install especially since this has been an ongoing issue since IE8 or earlier. Microsoft hasn't the answers either for this one, other than IE10 etc is not saving all Passwords.
Not sure if I'm following you. I typed in sfc and it did something but not sure what? I am running of course as Administrator. Also typed in sfc cmd - it seems to be saying what can be done instead of what it has done. Is this making sense at all?
ok - I've typed in sfc/scannow - it is presently doing its thing. I hit my head into the wall and realized (I think) what you are instructing me to do. If not, please advise.

For some weird and wonderful reason, Microsoft is not on top of the saving password issue. It's been an ongoing thing since I can remember, and that was about three years of age. :-}
