Running without Windows updates what are the risks?

I have 2 laptops and I have disabled all Windows updates.

They are running fine.

Therefore, I have been in a fixed situation with respect to the operating system updates for almost a year.

So far, so good.

Are there any like minded folks out there?


BTW The Windows update process eats a lot of memory and must be stopped to make the PC run fast.

Do you have data indicating the threat level without updates?

You can google it but its a very real threat things like flash are often exploited and there is one very big risk exposed by google for it
