    Win 10 Downloaded w/o Permission

I know you are saying he made an error ..... I've seen that dialogue box 1000 times the last 3 months and I know what I clicked on. I don't like Win 8.5 and I'll never trust those people again. I became so angry trying to stop that I damaged the computer (the plastic crap they refer to as a case has no decent access .... it's your computer and access should be easy).
The display is fine but is now upside down ..... does anyone have a fix for this ? 2) How do I get this unwanted crap off my computer (it took me over 4 months to get my event record even close to not looking like a Christmas tree with no help from MS or HP .... I don't want to go thru that BS again ) and restore it back to Win 8.5 ??
    Thanks ....

It sounds like you didn't uncheck the optional "Upgrade to Windows 10" update before manually selecting to install available updates.

You can use the method in the tutorial below to go back to the previous Windows.

Once you are back to Windows 8.1, you can use the tutorials below to disable the "Upgrade to Windows 10" update and GWX icon.

No Problem Here Just A Thanks To Britt and Aministrators

For letting me know about the Windows 10 download hiding in Windows"update" ........ my machine is set on auto update ..... so what happened I don't know ...... I've had a running feud with MS since the 90's ............. in my opinion those folks just happened to be at the right place at the right time ..... and others made mistakes ........... they stole and they bought ...... but have never had any ethics .... Thanks again ...
