Still Getting "Upgrade to Windows 10" Updates

On 3/11/16 I used Brink's "Disable Upgrade to Windows 10 Update", a very good tutorial, however I have received 2 updates since then for KB3035583 and KB2976978 (Windows 10 upgrade preparation) which I immediately hid. Will I continue to get these updates and other updates having to do with Windows 10?

    Thank you.

Unfortunately with Microsoft continually reissuing the same updates over and over again you may have to follow that tutorial every month

I just looked at update 2976978 and all it says is "to resolve issues in Windows." It doesn't say anything about Windows 10. Then I followed the "more information" link, and that doesn't mention Windows 10 either.

So if that update takes you to windows 10, then they're really trying to deceive people.

There are also 19 optional updates, and every one of them just says the same thing, "to resolve issues." Now I'm afraid to install ANY updates! Who knows what they'll do?

Update 3035583 appeared again the other day, even though I had hidden it the first time. They're really pushing it! I had also used that "Never 10" program, so at least Windows 10 (hopefully) won't be installed behind my back. But even that program can't stop them from offering you the updates repeatedly. Apparently the only way you can find out if an update is about Windows 10 is to select it and then, if it just says something vague like "to resolve issues," click the "Show More Information" link.

I just did a clean install of 8.1 and got the upgrade to Windows 10 message before I even logged in for the first time. It popped up during the final setup phase. They are getting very aggressive.

I had that pesky update again and had to hide it again. I also have GWX as a second line of defence.
