Windows 8 update

i have around 136 windows update and whenever i update it , it's always stuck @ 0% for afew hours , any ideas how to make it update? so i can upgrade it to windows 8.1

No need to do any windows updates.....

Just download the windows 8.1 Setup media > Create installation media for Windows 8.1 - Windows Help

And then just run the setup.exe from within your current host OS...

You can also jump right to Windows 10 by downloading the windows 10 setup media > https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/techbench

And again just run the setup.exe from within your current host OS
