Update optional on one computer; important on another: why

I have two computers in the house on 8.1. I noticed yesterday that on one computer, a certain update was listed as optional, while on the other computer it was listed as important (ftr it was update 3132080). This is not the first time I've noticed that an update is listed differently on the two computers. Anyone know why this is? There really isn't much difference in the setup between the two computers.

Make sure your Update Settings are exactly the same on both PC's.

If you have ( Give me recommended updates the same way I receive important updates ) checked on one and not the other it can cause what you described.

Optional KB3000850 Showing As Important? in Windows Updates & Activation
Heyo, need to ask a question. A while back in November, Microsoft released the KB3000850, which was a November roll up update. However some people didn't install it due to issues. I didn't install it back then and now, in March its showing as Important. Given how its like 400+MB, I need to...

Microsoft appears to have changed the Nov 2014 roll-up from optional to important. As a result, it slipped by me and it installed on restart. The system performance was abysmal afterwards with a black screen after the Toshiba logo for a good 30 seconds before getting to the login screen. Login...

Hi guys, I'm wondering why this security patch for a zero day flaw in IE 11 is not checked by default? Surely it should be.
So the other day I was trying to uninstall some fluff programs from my computer (after apparently downloading some pretty violent malware) and I accidentally uninstalled a program that I guess helped web images load up properly. Since then I've been getting everything from broken image links, to...
