Solved Activate Win 8.1 Core/Single Lang with a Win 8 Pro key?

Title says it all, is there way to activate the Win 8.1 Core/Single Language version with a Windows 8 pro key? I honestly thought the Single language version on Microsoft was the 8.1 Pro just Single language.

I'm sorry, but no. A product key can only activate the edition the key is for.

However, you could upgrade your Windows 8.1 Home to Windows 8.1 Pro with the product key using step 8 in the tutorial below through the "Add features to Windows 8" feature. You won't lose anything.

Thanks for the welcome Brink ;) and phew, I will try out the tutorial and post the results. At the moment 8.1 core/Single Language edition isn't activated, I'd still be able to add the features and then it would get activated right?
