KB3107998-Lenov fix???

have a Lenov PC ...today's update kB 3107998 removes lenovo's USB blocker version 1.0.0.37.... and today's update as i read is to avoid a system crash ...but also saw Lenovo's with 1.0.0.42 USB does not have issue as Lenovo's with 1.0.0.37 (todays fix) ... how can i tell what version i have before doing today's update ? thanks !!!
PS: since last update that installed 3088195 (last month) that can cause the problem (thus today's 'fix'') i've been o.k. ..no 'blue screen/crash'' so could i assume i have the Lenovo version without the problem ?

Windows update today (KB3107998) fixes 10/13/15 update KB3088195 that i have installed.
Today's update fix''removes lenovo USB blocker version 1.0.0.37...to avoid system crash.
but states also it applies to version 1.0.0.37 BUT not version 1.0.0.42 ... so what do i do? i don't know which 'version' i have ...and so far no crashes since 10/13/15 with original update. should i just go ahead and install today's 'fix'' even if it's possible it doesn't apply to my Lenovo USB blocker? THANKS in advance ...
