I had done an OK job of not installing Windows 10 and Telemetry updates as described in many threads including http://www.eightforums.com/windows-8-news/70351-updates-hide-avoid-telemetry-windows-10-upgrade.html
but a few got in. I want to uninstall them as suggested but have run in to an issue with KB2976978. I find it in installed updates but I have no option to right click and select uninstall. If I use the command "wusa /uninstall /KB: 2976978" I get the message "Update for Microsoft Windows (KB2976978) is required by your computer and cannot be uninstalled"
Only thing I could find for that message mentions being part of a Group Policy editor for WU which I am sure I am not.
Any hope of getting this one uninstalled or should I not bother?
