Can't hide Windows Defender update KB2267602

I do not use Windows Defender and it has been turned off. I don't want to install any updates for this program, and usually hide them. However, I have been unable to permanently hide update #KB2267602. I hide it at least twice daily, and it keeps on popping up.

I am using Windows 8.1 on an Asus laptop - 64 bit.

Any help?

Try uninstalling any third party antivirus you have installed. Reboot and check that Windows Defender has been re-enabled or re-enable it. Run Windows Update and allow it to install the update. Once it's done reinstall your third party antivirus which should automatically disable Windows Defender in the process.

Try to disable Windows Defender in Services then manually do a Windows Update.

So, I tried to do a manual update, but after going through all the steps to download Windows Updates Downloader, it turns out that KB2267602 is not on ANY list of updates......

I am not going to disable my anti-virus, enable Windows Defender just to download this update, as I am seeing a lot of people having trouble with that update to begin with - lots of systems crashing, error messages, etc.....seems like a whole lot of headache for an update I DO NOT NEED or WANT.

Seriously, WTF is up with this update?
