rec'd this other day - haven't installed KB2976978 described as '' 'combatibility update for Win. 8.1 and Win 8... ....also have KB2871389 supposedly required to update to 8.1 from 8... do i need one or both when i update from 8 to 8.1 via the Store ? What happens to my computer if the 8.1 update 'starts' but then turns out i don't have all required updates installed ...will i revert back to '8' and remain status-quo? thanks in advance...
