Hi. Well thanks in advance for answering my query. The problem is that my Laptop came with pre installed windows 8 core single language. i updated the same and clean installed windows 8.1 (by downloading ISO and installing from USB and using my OEM Key). Now my question that i want to install windows 10 and is there any way to download ISO of windows 10 and upgrade my Laptop to windows 10 using my OEM Key of windows 8.1 (i.e offline upgrading to windows 10) as updating via installation media is not possible as my internet connection is very slow at the place where my laptop is and i cannot carry my laptop to another place.

In order to qualify for the free upgrade you must perform an upgrade from a licensed valid install however there is one way to upgrade with your circumstances

Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation - Windows 10 Forums gives you the option to download an ISO image from Microsoft as well as in place upgrade without the GWX app. you can obtain this to obtain the ISO using another PC with better internet access

You must create a disk or usb stick from the ISO image and then from within your current running OS run setup from the disk/Stick

this will perform an update install the same as the online upgrade

I have done an upgrade install offline successfully, and had it activate later, but I believe there's some risk that it won't activate when you do connect.

So to be on the safe side I'd make sure you have a good backup image (eg,. with Macrium Reflect free) of your Windows 8.1 setup before you start, in case you need to rollback and try again.

If you go through the process while offline, you'll only be able to create a local account. You can change it to a Microsoft Account or add another account later.

My other tips when you do get Windows 10 going, if you have limited network access would be

Edit: Beaten to it!
