Any more 8.1 updates?

When I clicked on Windows Update this morning the only available update offered was to update to Windows 10. Now that Microsoft is in a hard push to move everyone to Windows 10 does this mean there won't be any more updates to 8.1?

*How do I get back on the 8.1 updates track? I don't want to move to 10 until they've had time to solve the early bugs.

Thanks.

Interested in this too. Present plans are to stick with 8.1 until I 'go to the home'. It works great, hopefully as well as XP.

Well the next updates are for a couple days yet. Wait till Patch Tuesday. Support is supposed to continue until January 2023.

Someone said to "hide" this update but there doesn't seem to be a way to hide it or get rid of it!

What happens when you click on "Show all available updates" ?
Screenshot please.

From your picture it seems 10 update is already downloaded.

I have Windows Update set to notify me before downloading updates.

Then too, I un-reserved my copy of 10 before it could be offered.
It is no longer offered in Windows Update-

I still have the Windows icon in the Notification Area.
But it is not reserved.

You could delete the downloaded update & set Windows Update to notify you before downloading anything.
Then un-reserve the update via the 10 icon in the Notification Area.

If it would happen to show up again as an available update, then you should be able to hide it.
If you can un-reserve it, it shouldn't show up at all.

Thank you very much. With your advice I was able to un-reserve the W10 reservation (I had reserved it early on) and then was able to hide the W10 optional update. So now it no longer appears when I click on Windows Update. I appreciate your clear instructions and help.

Where do I find the already downloaded W10 update so I can delete it?

Thank you again.

My Computer

Not really sure.
But you could look in SoftwareDistribution folder-

Or maybe Cleanup would get rid of it-

Maybe wait until someone with windows 10 comes along to help. :)
