Windows 10 update

Hi guys, I have already installed KB3035583 yet I still do not have the GWX app. It shows up in my registry and has triggers to run but it results in 0x0. Now, I am thinking maybe I lack a certain update that will enable the GWX app. Here are my uninstalled OPTIONAL updates.

Do I really need the GWX app to install Windows 10? Or can I just use an ISO file. Help me out please thanks

You can forget GWX and update straight away via the Windows 10 media creation tool, see step 3 here - Windows 10 - Upgrade Installation - Windows 10 Forums

Please remember though you need to update for window to activate, after you have upgraded you can then perform a clean install via ISO if you like but I stress this can only be done after an upgrade has taken place and activated.

Hi, thanks for the reply. What do you mean by update for windows to activate? Do i need to have windows 10 first before creating an ISO file via media creation tool?
