product key Windows 8.1 issue

I wonder if anyone can help me. Exactly the same problem as others. Upgraded to Windows 8.1 overnight, Windows now will not activate. I have the Windows 8 product key but that does not work. I ran the link above with the OEM product key and that said 'OEM not found' or something similar.

Anything else worth trying?

I refreshed the laptop last night as it got stuck in a loop upgrading to 8.1........
