error 80246013 & 13ec with vs 2010 service pack 1

Since I installed Microsoft Visual Studio 2010, a while back, and went to windows update I received this update of 551,5 MB.
Unfortunately I can't install this update, it retrieves error code 13EC or 80246013.

Sfc is clean.
Any other update installs fine.
Cancelling, as suggested on the support of microsoft doesn't work.

I haven't disabled my protection as I don't want to risk anything, especially since the e-crime world is very active.

Is there someone who has experienced the same and found a solution

Did you tried googling the error to see what it means? If this kind of thing persists then your ultimate option is going to be a refresh or clean install of windows, up to you.

I'll leave the answer to the error to the pros but I had a similar problem which I'll share with you. A while back when I received kept receiving errors installing specific updates in windows and even got them after a clean format and install of windows, later it turned out that my copy of windows was bad or had gotten corrupt file or error in its installation file that didn't show up during windows installation or any other use of windows, but! On some windows options like pin login setup, windows updates installation problem, errors, bsod etc. eventually I downloaded a copy of windows from Microsoft website and copied it into a usb stick with rufues and every problems was solved.

I have not yet searched for the meaning of these errors.
I am right now installing this pack via this link because I just thought about this and not earlier.

But I'm wondering why this update everytime fails to install. I have done a few clean installs of windows, installed visual studio 2010 and had to install the pack manually because windows update couldn't install it.

And I can verify that my windows is legal and fine, it would be weird if I get an message that says my windows license is pirated or not activated after 2 years.
