Other than uninstalling the particular KB, I couldn't get any other fix to solve the "false positive" file system corruption issue.

Did the later MS hotfix for the particular KB clear it up for you?
Actually, I found a fix in another thread on SF, it was for someone else but the two listed corrupt files matched mine and I was going to roll back to an earlier image anyway so I tried it and it worked.

Not something I would recommend or post for others but it worked for me.

    That's okay.

Was curious about it, as few from this forum, hit by this bug, were waiting for a fix other than uninstalling.

That was going to be my next move if that fix didn't work, roll back to an image without the update.

Not really sure about the problem you are having here but I seriously doubt that those 2 updates were the main cause for SFC problem. I had both installed. One on 5/8/15 and the other on 6/3/15 and did not experience any issue with SFC.

Since only few of you are having this problem. I suspect it must be some conflict between Hardware/Software with this update. I've also noticed that some of you are running Anti Virus software such as Norton, KIS etc... while Derekimo and I only run Windows Defender.

Just Curious, Any of you have MS Office 2013 installed in your PC ?

I've MS Office 2013, KIS installed.

It's really weird that hotfix released by MS later on, still didn't resolve the issue.

Anti Virus is sometimes interfered with Windows/Apps installation and the reason I ask if any body had Office 2013 is some of its updates might conflict with these 2 Windows Updates.

For one KB3022345 became an important update back on 5/15/15, originally back in April as an optional because i remember uninstalling it after posts shown here about issues with SFC then, as i received same can not repair errors. I removed the update the sfc can not fix errors went away. Then they came back and low and behold it was reinstalled as recommended. Wondering if it is true for me to install this optional KB3068708 to fix this issue or not. or just remove same KB3022345 again.

Proof as recommended. I usually read about optional ones, maybe i should start reading about important and recommended ones from now on too. But i did reserve Win10 if that fixes the issues or not.

As you see installed also back in April KB3022345 as optional

So do not think they changed numbers on it, Microsoft, added another, maybe a cure or update to it.

Seems to be a proven fact for some not all, installing KB3022345 is causing the same results of SFC finding corruption and unable to fix and even same files shown in CBS.log as others here and DISM fails too. Optional KB3068708 i tried installing with still having other update in, same results, removed both, SFC runs fine, no integrity violations at all even DISM worked. Done this more then once with KB3022345 to prove it. Not sure what conflict it has for some and not others, leave it off system till see what Windows 10 brings us with this problem.

edit: KB3022345 originally came out in April as an optional update to enable Diagnostics Tracking, then it was updated and became recommended on June 2.
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3022345 Along with adding another update to it KB3068708 (optional only).

    @topgun,

I had disabled KIS while updating, but couldn't change anything with MS Office - SFC scan still errors out.

Should I try uninstalling it and then try installing KB3022345? This would take me to carry out

MS has clearly and repeatedly acknowledged the problems KB3022345 has caused in numerous articles including their own Data Sheet for the update so I think you can rule out conflicts with Office as well as anti-virus at least as it pertains to this particular update. Uninstalling KB3022345 if you can clearly resolves the SFC/DISM issues for most if not all although it has been reported that some have had difficulty uninstalling KB3022345. If Update Cleanup or similar cleanup tools have been applied since the installation it may not be possible to uninstall the update with traditional means without reverting to a previous restore point or earlier image.
