Update Problems - Corrupt Files Found But Not Fixed

i have been having problems with windows update not running.

I did the automatic repair thing and it gets to 'starting bits service' and just hangs there no matter how long I leave it.

After a bit of searching for things to try I did:

sfc / scannow

It says there are corrupt files which it cannot fix. I can provide further details from windir/logs/cbs/cbs.log if that would be useful but its quite big so I'm not posting it straight away.

In the elevated command prompt type Dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
It will take a while to run and appear to be stuck at 20%, let it complete.

Then run the sfc command again and reboot when completed.

Run the Windows Update troubleshooter if you are still having problems:

The source files could not be downloaded
Check Installed Updates to see if KB3022345 is installed and if so I recommend you uninstall it. This update has caused the exact kind of problems you are reporting for many users.

Check Installed Updates to see if KB3022345 is installed and if so I recommend you uninstall it. This update has caused the exact kind of problems you are reporting for many users.

Nope, I don't have that update.

Tried the build-in problem solution? (or whatever its called in english, i only have dutch language package installed)
