Another big round of updates today.

I have 9 optionals and 3 important updates showing.

KB3055883 (Edit... should read KB3035883) which is classed as important looks like it could be W10 related. The support link lists it as 'Enables extra update capabilities'.

There are also two Defender updates showing, both of which my 7:30am Defender update task successfully installed.

Not sure what to do over the others. Some of the optionals are just not applicable to me.

Windows Update:

I had a bunch of updates when I checked early this morning .. see image below. I downloaded and installed all with no issues so far

I received 9 updates, all optional


This time I'll wait a few days before installing

Interesting, I just checked and have the two defender updates and 10 optional, but not the one you mention KB3055883. I only find this thread as a reference when searching for that KB#.

Do you have KB3035583 installed or offered?

Sorry, that's a typo on my part. Yes, KB3035583 is offered as important.

No problem, that one has been sitting on my hidden list for about a week, it's listed as recommended for me, that could be that our settings are different.

I have the offer recommended updates the same as important unchecked.

Well I installed 'em all and no problems.

What I did notice was during running a disk cleanup there was an 'update package cleanup files' text that appeared in the progress bar screen
