Whenever I get a message that Windows 8.1 needs to restart to install some updates, I select the restart button on the message. The computer shuts down to restart. As it restarts a screen come up telling me that the computer is installing the updates, and telling me not shut it down until that installation process is completed. It then shows me a percentage of the process completed. It gets to 9% and then hangs there. The computer goes through another restart and the same thing happens again. It may do this one or two more times before I get a screen that says that the installed changes can't be completed, that the changes are being undone so that the computer can restart normally.
Once the computer restarts to Windows 8.1, I go into the system and looks for the updates and they all look like they did , in fact, install.
I don't understand whats going on here. Can someone please enlighten me?
