Unable to update Windows 8.1 Single Language to Windows 10

While searching for how to update windows 8.1 Single Language to Windows 10, I found a link on the Microsoft website to get the update. That took me to the STORE showing Windows 8.1 Single Language and a download button. Clicking on that button gives an error message that Windows 8.1 Single Language cannot be installed.


Is the update to the latest version not supported on Windows 8.1 Single Language? Why am I getting that error message?

Windows 10 is still in the Preview stage. I would suggest that you do not update but install it in the VM or re-partition your HD to install Windows 10 separately.
