Nope ! Maybe some other updates before this or software update you might have done. I installed a few after reading what they are for, then felt i needed just those. As i read about everyone first. Being cautious because of an issue i had not long ago (not related to yours) and last thing i do not want to do again is reinstall OS.

Well there's another optional update today on the same machine.
Sfc done before - good to go.
    Installed it, restarted.
Sfc - integrity violations detected, not repairable
    Dism restore health done
    Restarted system
Sfc again - integrity violations found again, but repaired
    Restarted system

The KB number this time is 3048043

Assuming some system are affected by certain updates then others, wonder what exactly has to do with, what software and drivers are on each one or hardware differences to make this happen to some. Sometimes you do have to do it a couple of times to fix it with SFC and DISM. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3048043
Does your screen flicker when you drag apps in start screen ? If no, your good for now without it !

Got another optional waiting now - 3022345 , will have to install it after some time. SFC found no integrity violations after a scan now.

Microsoft reissues KB 3022345 patch, but does it solve Win8.1 installer failure? | InfoWorld

First install attempt Failed then clicked Retry and it installed. This happened on 2 different computers.

What about this any truth to it ? Ventura County's PC Whisperer: Microsoft's Windows 10 Preview has a (Built in key logger) DiagTrack -What is does and how to disable it!!
If so they can keep it.

Thought it was said even here before, some of these updates are in a possible preparation of Windows 10 or used on the technical preview version. Seems most are just taking these updates feel they need them just because they are there, but still optional.
Guess, to each his own. Make sure have a restore point.

Got it installed successfully at the first try.
Restarted system, did SFC - no violations
First time in a whole 2 weeks , I'm getting clean SFC after Update installation.

Unable to Hide Optional Updates in Windows Updates & Activation
