Activated but activation reminders still appear

The "Go to PC Settings to activate windows" blue screen is still frequently appearing (and am unable to dismiss it without going to the PC Settings thing), even though the System screen of the control panel clearly states Windows 8.1 Pro is activated, how do i disable this ridiculous and annoying 'feature'? The option to disable those reminders via the action 'center' is grayed out, so is there a registry setting I can tweak to permanently remove these screens?
All I've had since windows 8/8.1 upgrade is problem after problem, some trivial, others less so

That sometime occurs during grace period ( notification) - please post a diagnostic report.

Results of the diagnostic tool are all fine, not sure what grace period would look like, maybe its just windows 8 being an ass (as usual)
