How to hide individual Windows Update items, like in Win7?

I am running Windows 8.1. Unlike in Windows 7, there is no way to turn off individual updates in Windows Update, is there?

In Win 7, you could right click on a particular update that you did not wish to download or install, and "hide" it. But not in Windows 8.1 it seems.

Quite simple go to the list of updates In Windows 8.1 > Select > Right Click update and "Hide update". You can always Restore hidden updates, link is on the left, should you need to do so.

Never used Windows 7 for long enough, so don't know whether it is the same.
