Help!!! Don't want 8.1 -banner freezing computer !!!

    Yes, disable by using the download in step 3 of OPTION TWO in that tutorial.

    oK - will do that ... ..you see, i thought by clicking on ''download' it would then immediately starts to install -

    well, it didn't work for me - the minute i clicked on the 8.1 update at the Store, it then showed 8.1 was downloading 'and' then installing .... so apparently there is no icon (for installation) placed on desktop after the download so no place to click on and choose 'able/disable'' it's all or nothing .. oh well ... thanks anyway
