KB2975719 "Failed to Install" every time

Hi.

I recently got KB2975719 through windows update a few days ago, and it installs fine, but when I restart my computer, after getting to 100%, it says "Failed to Update, Undoing Changes.."

I've tried everything in the article for KB2975719 (downloading all the pre-requisites etc), but nothing appears to work.

The error code is 800706BE and sometimes 8024000B and 80080008. Different errors.

Is there a glitch with the update, anyone else having problems?

Thanks

I solved after long paint too,
1. Stopped Windows Update Service
2. Delete content of this two directories, C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore and C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download
3. Perform sfc /scannow wait it finishes. Restart Windows.
4. At startup, restart the Windows Update Service.
5. Rerun Windows Update, end install KB2975719, restart windows, everything should perform fine.

Search for Services in Control Panel or run "C:\WINDOWS\system32\mmc.exe" C:\WINDOWS\system32\services.msc. Then look for Windows Update Service and stop/start it as you like.

Okay. I kind of accidentally deleted all the contents in that folder, woops. See what happens. Thanks

Follow the instructions ... when you restart the service all the content will be re-downloaded. Sorry maybe I was not clear to restart the Windows Update Service after deleting the contents of these directories.

Okay, I've disabled WU service, deleted contents of softwaredistribution, running sfc /scannow, so after that, restart, re-enable WIndows Update Serivce, and search for updates, and download normally?

Should work ... however the content you had to delete is for ONLY those two directories C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\DataStore and C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution\Download, but it should re-download evreything the same way. Let me know!

Unfortunately it didn't work, it's on a "failure to update..." loop at the moment, like it's been doing everytime I try. Dammit :(

I solved me too after many weeks, retry fallowing the exact steps. Stop, clean, restart, install. Try to uninstall the updates that seems strange to you, and retry, this is the last resort. Be careful to make some restore point. Hope you succeed.

I have followed the above procedure, but this is not helping. When I restarted the computer, it mentions that the update were not installed and when I check "view update history, it shows as succeeded, but still it is not getting applied. Can you help me with this case.
