Windows Update automatically disabled

Hey. I have a little problem: I've just recently installed Windows 8.1, all the updates, and, from time to time (1 hour or even faster), action center tells me that windows update is disabled, and when I've gone to the settings, it was off. Ok, no problem, it's not hard to enable it. But, as I said, something, I don't know which program or the operating system or anything else stops it. Do you have any ideea why? Thanks !

Possibly a glitch due to the update, if it happens again let us know. I always check my update status every morning as a precaution.

It's happening again, in 1 hour the windows updates disabled 3-5 times, once even disabled after 3 seconds of reenabling.

I don't know who your computer model you have but does it have it's own computer management program of the manufacturer, if so check those settings.

I sad that I have installed Windows 8.1 many times before, on the same laptop, and no, it doesn't have any of that.

OK try this: How do I reset Windows Update components?

Someone also suggests, that manually using this can fix it.

Start command prompt as admin and copy/paste each of those two separately, then enter.
reg add "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WindowsUpdate\Auto Update" /v AUOptions /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f
sc config wuauserv start= auto

I've done that, the OS is new and my hard-drive is new too (I've got brand new SSD, my old one is on my father's laptop), so what malware could enter when installing a new operating system on new hard-disk ? (I've checked with CCleaner and some other tools too).

Depends on what software you've installed after the Windows Install. Where did you obtain your install media? Clean install of Windows?

Yes, clean install, clean softwares (+ BitDefender Total Security 2015), and it's >100 times installing an OS, but it's the first time doing that, that stupid thing appears even a few minutes after I've installed Windows.

OK, if your install is clean and legal, must be a glitch of some kind. If you have system restore enabled try going back to a point before the issue happened.
