Activation problems

I purchased 8 Pro and Media Center the day it was released because of special pricing from MSFT (I refuse to pay 300$+ for that crap btw :) ). I waited until last month to install because I didn't see the need to 'upgrade'. I ran into random problems (see my other posts for more info) Anyways. I went back to 7 Home Premium. I tried to install the same 8 Pro using VM Ware with my legal serial number. Install went smoothly but it wont activate. Now I have an un-activated version :(. Any ideas on how to fix this, or should i kiss my $ goodbye, and use kmspico? Thanks in advance

If you are referring to the free WMC keys, and it was not activated prior to the cut off date... you are SOL...none of my unactivated keys work, even with telephone activation..

Your Pro key should work though...M$ are more lenient with the one-key-one-machine policy, particularly with telephone activation.

And please refrain from discussing pirate software - it's contrary to the rules.
