Hi,
I installed office 2013 with SP1, on Windows 8.1 update 1.
Office version is 15.0.4569.1506.
But Windows update is showing Service Pack 1 for Office is available for download.

Is it a fault? How to determine my office is with SP1? How to tell windows update that office has SP1?

I installed the office 2013 with SP1. Why should i install the SP1 separately?

Funny thing: I uninstalled office 2013, restarted; check for updates in Windows update. It's showing same updates for office 2013....WEIRD

Depending on how you removed Office 2013 there would always be left overs of the uninstall process in the registry. Reinstall Office and do the updates. Updates fixes any bugs or features of the previous installations. This is why there are updates regardless of what is installed even security updates.

This site shows how to uninstall Office completely for future reference:

Solved:
Installed office 2013 again, and uninstalled by Revo Uninstaller, then deep clean the leftover registry keys and other items.
