Windows 8.1 Update Problem

Good morning everyone.


I have a desktop computer, specifically a HP Pavilion p6-2302el with Windows 8.1.
The problem is that every time that I try to upgrade to Windows 8.1 Update, when I restart, the monitor screen remains completely black; and every time I have to use a restore point to bring the computer as it was before the upgrade.


I've already done all other updates, optional or not, and I left this Update for last.


How can I fix it?

Hi, I looked into your problem and your specific computer. You need to install some updates and drivers directly from the Manufacturer (bios update) before you can upgrade to windows 8.1. Head to the HP site for more info. Hope that was of help.
