Error code 80070005

Hi,

I haven't been able to update because of the 80070005 error.
I've been getting this error for all Updates for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems and Security Updates for Windows 8 for x64-based Systems.


I just performed the repair install a few hours ago. SURT says "No component store corruption detected." And sfc /scannow says "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."

I have then renamed the SoftwareDistribution folder, created a new one, and run windows update.

There were some other errors which was fixed by the trouble shooter.

I've run malwarebyte's Anti-Malware.
The only anti-virus I have is Windows Defender.
My account is the only user.

It does not. As I've already said I've run malwarebyte's Anti-Malware.
The only anti-virus I have is Windows Defender.
