After Update do you have to update router drivers?

After updating successfully which took a looong time @ 30Mbs connection. After the install everything seems to work but my Netgear N900 router, the icon in the "loaded" tray say its "not connected" to the internet but it is. Ive tried all other devices connected to the wiFi and they seem to work.
Just curious if anyone else is having similar probs.??
