Solved Windows Store not finding 8.1 Install

Hi guys, I'm running Windows 8 at the moment and I am trying to get 8.1 installed.

I go into the Windows Store......and I get no option at all to download and install 8.1. Windows updates are on, not sure if that even matters though. Windows Store is just not giving me any option to install it, or even tell me that its available to download.

Now, I'm in the UK, but as I understood it, Microsoft's release of 8.1 was global. I have also done several reboots of the PC, no change.

Anyone else had this issue?

Yup, sure did!! Signed in with my MS account!!

Its working now guys, the 8.1 update is now downloading thanks!!

Did you do anything to prompt it? I still have nothing.

I had a bunch of updates that hadn't been installed. Installed them all and rebooted the PC, and then the option appeared in the Windows Store!! Best of luck!

Thanks. When I went back to Windows 8 from the preview I got nothing. Now I'm currently installing 39 updates so I'm hoping the 8.1 will show up after this.

@mjs2011 is the update there now? Because even I'm not getting it after installing all windows updates!!!
