Preview activation

The 8.1 preview is bound to expire in 2014. When it expires will the key also expire(the purchased one). Can it cause activation problems when actual RTM version is released?

To those who have upgraded from 8 to 8.1 in the activation center does it tell that your key will expire or something like that?

Your Windows 8 key won't be affected. In the worst situation you may need to activate a fresh install of Windows 8 by phone before upgrading to Windows 8.1 RTM, if that's what you plan to do.

After the RTM is released and suppose I intend to do a clean install(from iso), it should accept and activate my copy right?
