I bought Windows 8 back in January, and it's just been hell.
In total, I have reinstalled from scratch 26 times, re-downloaded the installation media twice, and have done everything I could find on Google to do, and still haven't solved my problems.
I cannot install updates from Windows update. They fail, every single bleeping time, or, they simply don't download. In addition, the SFC command doesn't work, and .NET 3.5 doesn't install.
I've tried changing some group policy setting, running several Windows Update troubleshooters I found, running SFC on both the installation and from my USB drive I have the setup files on, and nothing has worked.
I'm really sad and clueless here, and any help would be appreciated.
