Solved Windows 8 Pro stuck on Configuring windows update

Hello the fellow trouble shooters. Any time that i got to install windows updates, it always gets stuck at 75%. I recently add the features to windows 8 via product key but it needed to install them through windows update. Not my computer coontinues to get stuck at 75% no matter how many times i go to restart my computer. I have a 3.2GHz, 125GB HDD, 4 GB RAM, 1GB ddr2 Video card/

Try a clean-boot.
Usually there was a driver conflict.

Or you can disable then re-enable the BITS and WUAUSERV services.
