I was seeing some threads about this but it was not clear how to stop it. I have a new Lenovo laptop with Windows 8. Last night I was trying to uninstall something but it wouldn't let me.... said it was installing something else. So I went to restart my computer and then got the blue screen saying "Keep your PC plugged in until this is done. Installing updates 11 of 27..." After an hour I tried the ctrl-alt-delete to reboot but it would do nothing. Left it for another hour and tried a hard turn off (pushing my power button). I waited 1 minute and turned it back on... same blue screen with same message. So I left it over night and it's still saying the same thing!!!! The only thing I can think of now is to take the battery out.... but I don't want to crash my computer. PLEASE HELP!
How do I make sure this doesn't happen again?
Thanks.
