    Same here. Recreating Administrative Tools didn't help but recreating System Tools allowed the install to succeed. It didn't put anything in any of the Start Menu folders though. Thanks very much for the crucial clue.

    Don't know if this will help anyone, maybe someone with some smarts can verify what it is and if it is safe.

    I was having problems for weeks getting kb 2785094 to install. Have tried MANY things I've found on the net and none worked. Today I happened across a thread suggesting the following:

    cmd windows as administrator

    * DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
    * DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
    * sfc /scannow

    Don't know what all it did but that sequence of items worked for me today.

Will Windows RT work, and the x64 architecture rule or RT win the race? Mac OS X will become superior if MS chooses the wrong idea. I love Microsofts idea of the future. :) I do enjoy my x64 Intel PC more than the RT edition. I think it may be timing. ;)
