    Change warning message

    Hi

I have Update set to "Never" as I run update at a time to suit myself almost every day.

With W7 I could stop the alerts by selecting "Change the way Windows warns me" (or something like that)
but I cannot find how to do that in W8, the Action Centre Flag is always showing with a white X on a red background.

Please advise how I change this without changing to Auto Update.

    Thanks

    Daniel

Hello Daniel, and welcome to Eight Forums.

Unchecking the Windows Updates option in Action Center should stop the message.

Goto Control Panel -> Action Center -> Change Action Center Settings and uncheck Windows Update and then click OK.
