I'm not sure what's in Shawn's tutorial and tbh I'm too jet lagged & tired to start looking things up and doing anything that does't require auto pilot, but if it worked for the other versions it will work for the RTM.

I went to MSDN's Product Key Page and got my 5 keys for Windows 8 Pro, but Subscriber Downloads is telling me it's "VL" and not available to me. The other Win8 editions are available, including Enterprise. I've never had a problem like this before. Is this affecting anyone else?

    Hello Jim,

Using "Sources" is only if you were to install Windows 8 from within Windows 7 to dual boot so as not to replace Windows 7 with Windows 8. If you install Windows 8 at boot to dual boot, then it installs as usual.

Yes, you do not have the highest level of account. Just get the "Windows 8" version, the keys indicate that it is actually Windows 8 Pro, just not the Volume License version.

Finally got 64-bit Windows 8 Pro RTM installed.

Did you guys have any issues with Windows 7 saying that some of the keys provided by TechNet or MSDN will not work during installation? I tripled check, and all the numbers were correct. Odd.

Windows Explorer, Start Screen, and Xbox Music preferably. I'm hoping Music is improved as it's still shoddy in the leaked builds.

    Thanks!

Looks like Windows Explorer is called File Explorer now in Windows 8 RTM.
