BTW - Cokie was only kidding.
    Was he?

How's that for MS. Their biggest Windows 8 metro fans ,"customers" are only willing to use it if it is FREE! Hahahaahh...

At least those of us BEGGING for the Default direct boot to desktop mode are willing to pay for our Windows software.

Wink, wink, nudge, nudge. It's a joke.

Even still, there isn't anything to suggest that there are ill activators for it. Even if the RTM does leak, you need to have the key for it. As I think Windows 8 keys only work a finite amount of times, it would be flagged immediately.

But I can say for half of the people here, we want RTM!

And that's a primary reason why so many people pay for Technet. The rest like the fact that you get a ton of legit software, for an extremely reasonable price.

That looks like the Lock Screen, not the Login Screen and its ugly.

After reading through this thread again, it was fun but just about everything was wrong. Close but wrong. That's what makes rumors so much fun.

that login screen looks ok China, for the USA, there would never be a login screen like that

It would not surprise me if I were to turn on my machine one morning and 8.1 starts up. My machine already seems to have a life of its own and turns itself on and off whenever it wants.

That's what happens when you buy a system that is "Self Learning." . . .
